Yofi Grant is one of the most well-known and popular business personalities in Ghana with more than 28 years of experience in banking, finance and private sector business.
His experience in banking and finance includes treasury, financial restructuring and management, divestiture and privatization as well as equity, debt and project finance.
Yofi till December 2012 was an Executive Director and Partner with the Databank Group, the premier investment bank in Ghana, where he played several senior roles over 16 years. He was also responsible for the development and implementation of one of the largest agriculture (SME) funds in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Yofi holds several Supervisory Board mandates (telecommunication, commodities, education). He has also played many policy advisory roles to government, particularly in private sector development. He was member of the Venture Capital Association of Africa, Vice President of the Ghana Securities Industry Association, Chairman of the Listing Committee of the Ghana Stock Exchange, a member of the Governing Council of the Ghana Stock Exchange and executive council of the Association of Ghana Industries.
He is currently Chairman of the Finance Sector Committee of the Association of Ghana Industries and a fellow of the Aspen Leadership Global Network.
